Because Information Portal is a web-based application, you can access Information Portal from home, school, work, or anywhere else on the World Wide Web. To access Information Portal, enter the URL to your library's Information Portal home page into the Address or Location bar of your web browser. This lets you access general library information and Information Portal's different searching tools.
Information Portal also provides additional features to registered library users who have previously set up an Information Portal user account. These additional features include the ability to view items that are currently checked out, renew library items, request that the library hold a particular item, cancel or change the status of a hold request, display a history of your year-to-date hold requests, view fines or blocks on your account, view frequently-asked questions and answers, and make changes to your user profile.
To gain access to these privileges, you must first log in to your user account. To obtain an Information Portal user account, contact your library.
